Deceiving brown eyes
That people see,
Smile on your face,
but tears run down your cheeks
Flush away the void on your chest
Distort the reality,
that always pokes you in the eye.
But,
I told you not to be so teary
Why are you so teary?
Are the stitches on the corner of your lips hurt?
I can hear your thoughts
In tiny echoes
Coming from your throat
But never retched out
I drown you in the depth of nigritude
Your eyes are red now
They are shut now
Your stitches are bleeding
And you bleed black
Like the blackest dreams the children are afraid of
